I can't sleep...
Drowsiness during the day and insomnia at night, don't you just love jet-lag? Um, no. No one likes to spend the first week of their trip confused about what time it is, staying up all night and not being able to get up and seize the day. After all, I can bet that 'seizing the day' is the first thing listed on your itinerary...
Thankfully, there's a tea that can help you catch some Zzz's during the time that everyone else is catching them.
Dream on Tea by K&G Blended is a sleepy-time tea that will relax you and put you to sleep within 10-20 minutes. It’s important that you’re already in a relaxed setting for it to have a full effect, or at least that’s what I noticed when I was testing its efficiency.
This sleep-inducing tea is considered a tisane (herbal medicinal tea) and therefore it is not blended with camellia sinensis (actual tea plant). It has a soft yellow hue and if ‘sleep’ were to have a scent I think it would smell like Dream On Tea. The scent is truly comforting and relaxing.

Oh no! My stomach...
Adventurous eating is a staple of travel, after all, eating like the locals is part of the entire experience. Your stomach, however, isn’t as accepting of all those curry spices or that special meat sauce made of vegetables you’ve never heard of which can also, unfortunately, make indigestion and an upset stomach part of your trip. Not cool...
Why should you have to spend your precious vacation hours hurled over, vomiting, or in pain? After all, there's more to see in Morocco than its intricate bathroom tiles...
I absolutely love Dandelion Tea by Buddha’s Herbs because it comes in convenient tea bags, but it is just as potent and effective. I can’t express enough how Dandelion Root Tea is essential on your trip to avoid the painful effects of an upset stomach.
Dandelion Root Tea is made from the roots of the dandelion plant. Yeah, it’s the plant that everyone calls a weed and tries to get rid of during late spring/early summer. Little do they know that dandelion root has medicinal effects to help with bloating, gas, indigestion, and the pain that results from these.
Anytime I have an upset stomach I sip Dandelion Root Tea by Buddha’s Herbs and almost immediately I feel the pain subside, I begin to burp (gross yes, but it relieves the tension from built up gases), and I am upset-stomach free in about 7-10 minutes. I use this tea so much that I actually need to purchase some more; NOTE TO SELF: Order Dandelion Root Tea by Buddha’s Herbs on Amazon a.s.a.p.

I want to stay focused...
Every trip has an itinerary that is composed of all your must-sees. When you return home, you don’t want that feeling of regret knowing that you traveled thousands of miles and missed the opportunity to experience what you were expecting. Traveling to a different region can be shocking to the system and may cause you to become overwhelmed and even distracted; believe me, it has happened to me before.
You don’t have to allow culture shock to distract you from seeing all the things you have on your to-do list. You need to have calm and focused mental clarity and thankfully, there’s a tea for that too.
Ashwagandha Root & Jasmine Green Tea by Atman Tea Co. is just the tea to help you remain calm and focused. Ashwagandha root and green tea are both known to provide boosts of energy. Ashwagandha, also known as Withania, has both stimulating and calming properties. Because of its combination of normalizing adaptogenic and calming nervine properties, ashwagandha can help promote both physical stamina and mental clarity as well as alleviate conditions that both stem from stress and contribute to it, such as nervousness, sleeplessness, and fatigue.
Every time I sip Ashwagandha Root & Jasmine Green Tea by Atman Tea Co. I experience a clean energy that makes it easy for me to focus on the task at hand. You can sip this tea first thing in the morning or right before you venture our of your airBnB so that you can remain energized and focused to site-see without distraction.
