Easy Banana Bread Recipe To Enhance Your Tea Time

15 Feb 2017

Are the bananas on your kitchen counter turning too black to throw into your lunch box? Don’t trash them! They are actually perfectly ripe and ready for a Banana Bread Recipe that I made specifically for your sipping and reading time.

In this article, I share a simple Banana Bread Recipe that you and your family are sure to love. Be sure to subscribe to Tea End Blog to be automatically entered to win free tea/books/stuff during Tea End Blog Give-Aways!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda

  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. Salt

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 1/2 cup La Tourangelle Roasted Walnut Oil

  • 1 1/2 cup or 3-4 Ripe Bananas, mashed

  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

  • 1 tbsp. Cinnamon

Optional: (the Banana Bread in photos does not have Walnuts or Chocolate Chips)

  • 3/4 cups Walnuts

  • 3/4 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit; grease and flour the bread pan.

Step 2: Sift Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Cinnamon and Salt in a bowl.

Step 3: Beat Eggs and Sugar in large bowl until well blended; gradually mix in La Tourangelle Roasted Walnut Oil; add Bananas and Vanilla.

Step 4: Fold in Flour mixture; add Walnuts and Chocolate Chips

Step 5: Pour into bread pan and bake until middle is done (1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes)

Step 6: Let cool before removing from pan.

Step 7: Serve and Enjoy!

This Recipe is perfect as a tea time snack or take it with your tea in a to-go cup as a quick breakfast.

I did not put Walnuts or Chocolate Chips in the Banana Bread Recipe this time around but it is delicious with or without. Sometimes I’m in a nutty mood…and sometimes I’m not…(lol)
