The Recipe for "The Botanist" can be found on the back of the bottle of White & Vine Tea Cocktail Mix. You all know I love (x 1.5 billion) white tea so it is no wonder that this Recipe is one of my most favorite! It's so clean and fresh, exciting but calming...I love it!

Ingredients:

2 ounces White & Vine

1 ounce Gin

1 Lime

Soda Water (to top)

Mint (to garnish)

Instructions:

Step 1 - Pour White & Vine, Gin and the juice from the Lime into a shaker filled with ice. Shake.

Step 2 - Pour mixture into a glass and top with Soda.

Step 3 - Garnish beverage with Mint.

Step 4 - Serve and Enjoy!

You can find this divine Recipe called "Cha-Cha Chai" on page 98 of Wise Cocktails - The Owl's Brew Guide to Crafting and Brewing Tea-based Cocktails. When this cocktail, made with Coco-Lada, was brewing on the stove, my husband (who was working upstairs) came down to investigate (lol). It smelled that good!

Ingredients:

3 ounces Coco-Lada

1 1/2 ounce Spice Rum

2 Cinnamon Sticks (to garnish)

Instructions:

Step 1 - In a saucepan, combine Coco-Lada, Rum and Cinnamon Sticks. Simmer over low heat for 8 minutes.

Step 2 - Remove from heat and pour into a heat-safe mug.

Step 3 - Garnish with Cinnamon Sticks

Step 4 - Serve and Enjoy!

This wickedly tasty Recipe made with Wicked Green, is one of my own and the name, "Gin Make You Sin", is inspired by my daddy. Kyle, my father, is a real fun-loving type of person and is always coming up with southern-inspired catchy phrases which stick in my head whether I like it or not.

When indulging responsibly in a cocktail or two he would jokingly say 'gin make you sin' in his Texas accent. When I tried gin as an adult, I was able to see his point of view. It is a smooth and undetectable beverage which is why it goes perfectly with tea!

Ingredients:

2 ounces Wicked Green

1 ounce Gin

- For the Salted Rim -

1 teaspoon of Granulated Sugar

1 teaspoon of Himalayan Sea Salt

a pinch of Cayenne Pepper

a slice of Lime

Instructions:

Step 1 - Mix the Granulated Sugar, Himalayan Sea Salt and Cayenne Pepper on a flat surface.

Step 2 - Rub Lime around the rim of a glass. Slide rim of glass onto Sugar mixture.

Step 3 - Pour Wicked Green and Gin into a shaker filled with ice. Pour beverage into glass.

Step 4 - Serve and Enjoy!

This deliciously spiced winter warmer’s Recipe, made with The Classic, can be found on page 84 of “Wise Cocktails”. The apples lend a tartness to the beverage while the bourbon and tea smooths the sip. "Owl’s Toddy" is served warmed with cinnamon sticks making it a perfect autumn or winter brew.

Ingredients:

3 ounces The Classic

1 1/2 ounce Bourbon

3 Apple Slices

1 cinnamon stick (to garnish)

Instructions:

Step 1 - In saucepan, combine The Classic, Bourbon and Apple Slices. Simmer over low heat for 8 minutes (do not boil).

Step 2 - Remove from heat and pour into a heat-safe mug.

Step 3 - Garnish with cinnamon stick.

Step 4 - Serve and Enjoy!

Tea and wine are so frequently compared that it only makes sense that they would come together to make a single beverage. Winter Wine (Recipe on back of bottle), made with Mulling Spices, was one of my favorite Recipes and Mulling Spices is definitely going to be a tea-based brew that I keep around.

"Winter Wine" is so comforting, soothing and relaxing (it has white tea in it also! Yay!) not to mention how rich and delicious it is! If you’re conflicted whether you should have tea or wine before bed, why not have both?

Ingredients:

2 ounces Mulling Spices

2 ounces of Red Wine

1 cinnamon stick (to garnish)

Instructions:

Step 1 - Heat Mulling Spices and Red Wine in saucepan (do not boil).

Step 2 - Remove from heat and pour in heat safe mug.

Step 3 - Serve and Enjoy!

"Fireside Toddy" (Recipe on back of bottle), made with Salted Caramel Toddy, is salty with a caramel aroma which plays delightfully at the back of your throat after each sip. Although the beverage is very fire-y, it has a sweet after-taste.

Ingredients:

2 ounces Salted Caramel Toddy

1 ounce Bourbon

1 Orange Twist or Slice

Instructions:

Step 1 - Heat Salted Caramel Toddy and Bourbon in saucepan (do not boil).

Step 2 - Remove from heat and pour into a heat safe mug.

Step 3 - Garnish with Orange Twist.

Step 4 - Serve and Enjoy!

Grapefruit is such a refreshing fruit so I was really excited to see that Grapefruit Collins was made with it. This Recipe doesn’t have a name because I just used the Owl’s Brew cocktail making rule: 2 Parts Brew/1 Part Booze.

The cocktail turned out great; citrus and fresh. There was even a “heavy” taste sensation which I would lend to the pepper within Grapefruit Collins.

Ingredients:

2 ounces Grapefruit Collins

1 ounce Gin

2 Grapefruit slices

Instructions:

Step 1 - Pour Grapefruit Collins and Gin in a mixer filled with ice; mix thoroughly.

Step 2 - Pour into a martini glass.

Step 3 - Garnish with Grapefruit Slices.

Step 4 - Serve and Enjoy!
