When the weather begins to warm up, do you trade in your hot cup of tea for a chilled one? I do! Recently, I thumbed through Martha Stewart Living Magazine and found an inspiring and simple fruit tea recipe to which I have added my own little touch!
6 slices frozen peach
4 cups black tea
1 cup granulated sugar
Step 1: Place peach slices, sugar, ginger, and a little black tea in blender. Blend until mixed.
Step 2: Pour peach concoction and remaining black tea into serving container; shake well.
Step 3: Chill and shake well before serving. Enjoy!
HEALTH BENEFITS OF BLACK TEA
prevents DNA damage
protects against different types of cancers
prevents cardiovascular diseases
prevents breast cancer
If you decide to make this recipe, be sure to use a quality black tea. I used the black tea that I purchased in Cameroon, Africa. Its aroma fills the air and it steeps deeply. Would you like to know how it tastes? Check out my Tea Review of Black Tea from Cameroon, Africa.
