THE HUE
Oriental Beauty by Origins Tea reminds me of a summer green. Not too bright but not too dull and still full of life.
THE SCENT
When steeping Oriental Beauty by Origins Tea, you will think that you are making a berry fruit salad instead! Oriental Beauty smells like a medley of berries, cherries, nectarines, and citrus grape!
THE SIP
Without 2 teaspoons of honey, Oriental Beauty tastes like a smooth concoction of mixed fruits. The various fruit aromas lay like silk on the tongue and make it very pleasant to sip without a sweetener.
With 2 teaspoons of honey, Oriental Beauty tastes a little more intricate; the berry and fruity notes fall to the back and make way for a sweetened peach flavor with a slight nutty finish; sort of like a white tea.
THE EFFECT
I can honestly say that Oriental Beauty by Origins Tea did WOW me and I will be adding it to my tea cabinet. I love the intricate notes and how the tea does not disappoint without a sweetener. I also appreciated how the tea was a discovery with every sip.
