Wen Shan Bao Zhong | Origins Tea

"I am totally over this winter," said Gabie. Like seriously y'all, I am so sick of being cold and seeing clouds cover my friend the sun; I am craving late spring/early summer almost as much as I crave good tea and great reads. I found a tea, however, that helps with this particular nostalgia: Wen Shan Bao Zhong by Origins Tea.

THE HUE

THE HUE: Wen Shan Bao Zhong | Origins Tea

Do you see why Wen Shan Bao Zhong reminds me of late spring/early summer? The hue is so vibrant and full of life. So very evanescent, light and airy looking. The heaviness of winter melts away with every gaze.

THE SCENT

THE SCENT: Wen Shan Bao Zhong | Origins Tea

The scent of fresh herbs and a faint floral note follows in the air when I steep Wen Shan Bao Zhong. This sip takes me to a green field under a sturdy and supportive oak tree where I am reading a book or two…

Without 2 teaspoons of honey, Wen Shan Bao Zhong tastes like fresh herbs and the sun that manifests themselves into medium cologne-like notes. At the very end of the sip, there is a soft floral taste.

With 2 teaspoons of honey, Wen Shan Bao Zhong takes on an even heavier sensation. The cologne-like notes become more pungent and the floral notes at the end are sweetened and weighed down a bit so that they settle more forcibly on the palate.

Hey! I still haven't quite figured out exactly what I will do to my bookshelves (behind me in the picture). How should I organize them? What color should I paint them? Let me know in the comments below!
